How to share account in metric

Hello!

I want to share my account with friends but I can't make it work with metric.

If I go to my page (without logging on like my friends) http://connect.garmin.com/explore?owner=je79ayps I'm getting to my page. However, I want to view in metric but choosing the "view in metric" the page is reset to defaults and shows the map of San Francisco and not my page.

Even if I choose to "view in metric" and then afterwards paste in my URL it doesn't work.

Howcome it doesn't just reload the current page and change the statute to metric?

    je79ayps,
    unfortunately, the measurement preference (view in metric/view in statute) is a user preference. either the user has to be signed in and have that preference for metric selected, or they'll have to fill out the form field with your username.

    -Having same problem, my account is set to metric, but if i press share to facebook or any other it changes to miles and other incomprehensible measurements for us danes :-D plz fix, this is why nobody shares in EU countries guys. Why share something nobody have any idea what means.

    Impossible to share in metric unit!

    Come on Garmin... we all spend enough money on your hardware. Units on a shared workout should be as per the chosen settings of the person sharing.... surely its not that hard to sort out? If it is a too difficult then = bad design. I'm from the UK and use metric - as do most of my pals under 50 years old!!

    There are other providers catching you up and over taking - listen to what your customers want before they're gone.

    The same from Spain. Please correct this. I want it directly in metric, my friends too. ;)
