Did the stress algorithm change in june 2024?

I've analyzed my stress data and noticed a sudden change on 24.06.2024: https://imgur.com/a/6lTbENu

Suddenly my average stress level raised from ~15 to ~25. I have to say that i've drunk a bit of alcohol on that week (holiday), but it seems to have stayed that high.

Were there any algorithm changes on that day maybe?

Stress is calculated by the watch, not by Garmin Connect, so you should better ask on the forum dedicated to your watch model, but generally…

Stress is calculated by the watch, not by Garmin Connect, so you should better ask on the forum dedicated to your watch model, but generally I do not think the algorithm changed on any model. The baseline might have simply shifted. It can happen for example when you reset the watch, and sometimes also after a new firmware version it may happen that the baseline is reset and established anew from the scratch.
