I have just uploaded two activities to Garmin connect and they are not showing on my dashboard, they have been removed from my Forerunner 405. Does this mean I have lost both activities. The activities were uploaded after the recent upgrade. I do love the system and they way I can view all my training in an easy table like view.
I have just read another post which says uploads are switched off at the moment. Does this mean mine may still be on my PC? If so can anyone tell me where they will be?
I am just an old guy with little knowledge so any help would be great.
Thank you.
C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\GARMIN\Devices\{device_id}\History
For Vista users this will be: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices\[device ID]\History
File extensions will vary depending on what you are looking for. History files for the forerunner will be .tcx
For all windows users you will need to set your folders up to show hidden files (which are hidden by default) to see the application data folders.
You also might want to turn off automatic deleting by Ant Agent. Right click on the Ant Agent icon in your system tray and choose Device Settings. Then uncheck the box to automatically erase data.
Since the system maintenance on the 25th, a couple of my Activities are not displaying. I can navigate on my FR405CX to HISTORY > ACTIVITIES, and scroll back and see an Activity on July 28 that is not on the connect.garmin Activities list. ALSO, I know from my manual paper calendar that I should have an Activity on July 30. It is not on the history of my FR405CX, and it is not on the connect.garmn Activities list. I know these Activites were recorded before the August 25th maintenance. (I'm a little OCD about this stuff.)
Just a note to say thank you for the information. I am an old guy having difficulty with new technology. My activities are now on the site I guess they were on my pc all the time.
