I've tried uploading directly from the device, searching for new activities on the device and manually uploading and all of the uploads have failed for me. I've tried at least 10 times with no success.
I ran into problems uploading today too. I placed the watch near the ANT stick before I went to shower, like always. The watch display indicated that a data transfer was underway, but when I checked back later no data had been uploaded to Garmin Connect. Unfortunately, I had set Connect to wipe the activities data after each upload, so it seems that the data for my most recent run is simply lost now. (At least, there's no longer any "Activities" data on the watch.)
