Calibration Issue "Treadmill Running"

Hello, When we engage in a treadmill running activity, if the distance recorded by the watch (Fenix 6s) is incorrect, we can calibrate and save it.

However, in the activity recorded in Garmin Connect, when there are multiple stages (warm-up, running, recovery), these stages are not updated with the new distance and it is impossible to modify them.

Only the type of run (recovery/warm-up/running) can be modified. How can we solve this problem?

  • Once you have done a short run and performed a calibration, the watch should be accurate enough without needing to recalibrate each time. For instance, my current treadmill and my Fenix 7s are accurate to within 2%. This is probably more accurate than distance measued by the watch outdoors given the limitations of comsumer GPS equipment.

  • My experience is that it is accurate when you always run in similar pace. When you run much slower or faster than calibrated pace, it goes too much away from the reality sometimes.
