Problem export .tcx from GC and import EDGE705

I export activity_12345.tcx from Garmin Connect an save it in the folder "courses" on my EDGE 705. When i look at my EDGE it appears a very strange name of my course like YYÖYYÖÖYÖY and there are no data. Do i something wrong?

Does this happen for every course or just one? How long is the title of your activity in GC/ Does it use any special characters? Can you post a link?

It happens with every activity. for example http://connect.garmin.com/activity/11929117
then it looks like this: http://www.bucheli.com/images/garmin.jpg

all this is not really a problem. If i use "send to device" it works perfect.

Ahhh, I understand now what you are doing. The export option is giving you a history file not a course file--it is confusing because they have the same file extension of .tcx. You cannot place a history file in your courses directory of the 705.

So you have a few options.
You can use the send to device option.
You can export the history file and use a 3rd party app to convert the history file to a course file.
You can export the history file, import into GTC, and then create a course from the history file in GTC to send to your device.
