How does it auto-decide whether I was "Hiking" or "Other" and can I change it in Connect?

Hello and thanks in advance!

I did not create any special activity but, upon walking around with my GPSMAP 66i it auto-decided I had been:

"Hiking" when I walked .31 miles one day

then on another day it decided I'd been "Other"-ing when I walked 2.87 miles.

Since I liked the metrics on Hiking, I thought I could tell it in Connect that I'd been Hiking instead of Other.

There's a dropdown for Other but you can't choose Hiking; you can only specify types of Other activity.

I know the cure is probably to immediately learn to tell it what I'm doing at the time I do it.

But I was just wondering if I could edit the auto-generated Other and tell it I was Hiking.
