Bike courses not showing in Garmin Connect Web

I noticed the same thing.

However if I click on Sort By - Recently Created, I can see the courses. (if the map is expanded to include the course area).

And, after a few days they are in the regular view. So I have to wonder if this is something new that is just not working correctly?

UPDATE: I just created a course this afternoon and now it seems to be as  you describe. I don't see it in Recently Created either. This is beginning to look like another Garmin bug feature. I do see it in Android.

I just wish Garmin would stop playing with the software and creating more problems then the invisible fixes solve.

Have you zoomed out the map view to display the area the courses are in? 

This f***ing problem still exist? Did you solve it? 

I want to edit recently upladed gtx, but i can not, becasue i have to reset  filter...which are broken.

Only solution for me is logoff, delete site cookies and logon – but it is very temporary solution.

As druidh mentioned, make sure the map on the screen shows the region containing the course you are looking for. If not, zoom out or relocate the map. Only courses in the focused area are shown.

But its kind of a funky solution when I just want to edit a track on the other side of the world.

I mean the funny thing is that the message literally says "To view all of your courses, reset the filters and map view", but:

- it only gives you a link/button to reset the filters and not the map view. [You're apparently on your own with the map view]

- "resetting" the map view implies either automatically [via a non-existent "reset map view" button] or manually changing the map view back to its initial state, but the initial state of the map view (on page load) can easily exclude some of your courses, as in your example of having a course on the other side of the world. Meaning that "resetting" the map view would not actually accomplish the goal of viewing all your courses, in some cases.

As I've argued elsewhere, this is just a complete UX failure from Garmin. Not only is the behaviour confusing enough that people have to ask for help online, but even when you understand the behaviour, it's still annoying and inconvenient to work with.

Given that Garmin insists on filtering the course list by the current map view, I would make the following changes (at the very least):

- When the list is filtered, always make it clear to the user [it isn't always clear now - when you have so many courses that the list scrolls, the "filtered courses" message at the very bottom of the list]

- Just give the user a big button labelled "Show All Courses" and do what needs to be done to make this happen. The user doesn't want to scroll to the end of the courses list, click "Reset Filters", then manually adjust the map zoom/location so all their courses are visible.

In contrast, Strava has the user's list of routes on a different page than the map - maybe Garmin should do that and avoid this problem entirely.
