No Map Data in Garmin Connect

I have run into a strange problem the last few days and was wondering if anyone else has had this occurred. I have a Garmin 405 and when I upload the data to Garmin Connect I have the data for the splits and summary data but no map data is available.

I ran this morning I made sure I had a strong GPS signal before heading out but still have no map data.

Is this for new activities? Do you store a lot of history on your device? Check out this post and see if this applies to you. If it's new activities, then there is probably something else going on.

It's actually new data. I've deleted some of the old data to see if that helps during my next run.

Could you post a tcx file of one of your problematic activities?

i am having the same problem with my 405 - recording lap data (every 1km) no problem, but no maps when i upload the data into garmin connect

this has happened the last two times - here is one of them

nothing on training centre either

when i download the gpx file onto my pc, it is only 1kb, so there is almost no data in it...
