I want to track my fastest mile, 5K, 10K, half marathon, etc. Look to Nike+ for an example of a well implemented version of this.

+1 for this feature. Nike+ does a great job with this.

This is one feature I'd really like to see. The Nike+ site really does do a nice job with this.

I'd also like to be able to manually input PB's from races that I did prior to using Garmin.

+1 here. Users should be able to compare their best results for any user-defined distance.

I would also love to see "personal best" functionality!

+1 here as well. The interesting part of this is when it dynamically sees best 3k/5k/10k, farthest run etc, and updates them. Should be a separate link from the dashboard with all-time PRs as well as annual ones.

Even cooler would be if it recognizes routes and sees sections you've done, connects them and posts a hypothetical PR. Far out I know, but it's a feature I'm used to from race car data loggers which computes your optimal lap time.

As of now, I have no clue to what my PRs are. It's one of the things that did "work" in nike+, however the times/distances there are sooo far from accurate, so not useful anyway :D

Before my edge705 I used my smartphone toghetger with Sportypal.

This also had a feature of PB's , and I miss this so much that i'm thinking of still importing to sportypal manually.

So garmin please implement this feature :D

Last time I talked to GC they said that this wasn't a running specific site so the 26,000+ people that took the time to look at my post should stop worrying about tracking things that interest them and instead use the goals to try to do an activity 5 times a week or do something for an hour a week. I for one am happy to reduce the usefulness of a great device by making any analysis, tracking, or reporting almost impossible on the site.
