while working within Garmin Connect it would be very handy to be able to add and later analyze splits. Who hasn't forgotten to hit the split button after completing a lap during a race?
Wow - just over 4 years and Garmin have commented twice - this was why I left Endomondo because they didn't respond well to things like this - editing splits in connect should be an obvious and in 4 years it hasn't been implemented. Shocking.

+1 for me added to a couple dozen others requesting this for nearly five years. It's exacerbated by the fact that there's no pause function. Polar has done this for something like 15 years. Please don't make us go back to Polar, Strava, and others mentioned in this thread.
OMG Garmin, I can't believe that it isn't possible yet to define splits distances after I have uploaded the activity to Garmin connect! Disappointing...
+1, It would be great to be able to analyse training sessions afterwards. Or segment a ride, which, while riding, you wouldn't necessarily think about splitting – say, after a bike race, analyse what was your mean power during a particular attack, chase or climb.
+1. Runner's World online Training Log supports adding split data manually. I used it a lot before switching to Garmin Connect. I'll add my split data to the notes section for now, but it's hardly ideal.
+1 Polar have had the ability to add splits in their software for over 6 years! Such a basic a crucial function for anyone wanting to really analyze their training.
