one session wont upload

hi guys

all my training sessions so far have uploaded no problems. then today's session transferred onto my computer with ANT agent but it said failed to upload to server due to "internal server error"

I've been to the "upload" part of the site and treid to upload it by clicking on "upload from list" but again keep getting failed due to internal server error

thought it might be a prob with ANT agent so created a dummy training session and that uploaded no probs!

any ideas?

It's possible there is some issue with your activity.

Have you tried uploading the TCX file manually?

If you are running Windows XP, you can find it in C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\GARMIN\Devices\{device id}\History.

If you cannot manually upload, can you post the TCX file here?

Ok, for some really weird reason, I see some track points in this file from May 09, 2010 with negative altitude.

I have removed those bad track points and attached the good file (I was able to upload to my GC account just now) here.

Do you remember anything that might have affected the satellite reception at the end of your ride?

No, I don't think you did anything. The only thing I can think is that the unit got lost and thought it was in another time or dimension :D.

I would keep an eye on it to see if it happens again. Maybe report it to Garmin if you feel like it.

One more thought. Did you go in a house or somewhere the unit lost satellite reception before stopping the timer? Just trying to determine the steps that might have led to it. I certainly think it's some sort of bug.

no I stopped the timer in the street

only thing was I was running through a fairly covered with trees area, maybe it lost me in there somewhere? although the route on the map is correct
  • similar problem

    Hi there;
Same problem, just went out for a big hike/trail run and came back, uplinked to Garmin Training Center only to find that at one point in the run I hit approx 360km/hr. As proud as I am of my fast running, I think that there's a problem!
Garmin Connect reports "internal server error" and won't load the file. I've tried to include a copy of my corrupt file as well but it "exceeds the quota" by 92.1kb. Let me know if I can send it via e-mail.
    Thanks.
