Connect Upload "No map data found for this activity"

After reviewing other posts regarding uploads to Connect and receiving "No map data found for this activity", I am encountering the same issue trying to upload older activities (trying to "migrate" my existing activities to Connect). The unit uploads correctly to Training Center with all of the appropriate/related information. However, trying to upload to Connect results in "no data...". Going back and forth from a selected upload and an exported TCX file from TC results in the "no data..." message. I can see summary information, but no GPS/heartrate. I have tried different export/import formats supported by Connect without any success.

The unit is an Edge 305 and recent activities load correctly but historical loads are hit and miss. The specific activity was uploaded correctly with GPS data to Motion Based and Training Center. Unfortunately, not all of my activities were recreated to Connect - only 14 out of the 60+ activities were ever converted which is why I have to run through the upload exercise to Connect.
  • The edge has a trackpoint limit (~13,000 trackpoints), when it reaches that limit new activities will start to overwrite old activities, living only summary data. If you're trying to upload old history from your device, then this may be why you're only seeing summary data. You say the unit uploads correctly to Training Center, but when did you send those old activities to TC?
