upload 705 problem on Mac

For the last week I have had problems uploading from my 705 to my Mac / Garmin Connect. I can upload the activities, but then the files are slow to transfer to Garmin Connect. Today, they won't transfer at all. Any ideas on how to resolve?

Are you able to open these files in Training Center or other application? Are you able to upload to GC individual activities with reasonable performance?

Another thing that can bottleneck uploads are the number of activities in the History folder of the 705. Each file is read and measured against files already in GC when using the Garmin Communicator plug-in. The more activities you have, the longer it takes.

The same thing happens to me occasionally...

I choose "cancel" when the upload appears to be hung and
try the upload again. Generally the second try gives almost
instantaneous results.

Thanks. The 4th time yesterday did it. I had not thought of deleting items from the history, will look to do that.
