It would be nice to be able to set a default/saved query that I could use each time I'd like to search for those posting in my Area (versus recreating each time I want to take a look).
One thing you can currently do is after you have performed your desired search, use the Link button (right above the map) on Explore. This will give you a link which you can create a bookmark off of so you can get back to the current search filters quickly.
