upload data from oregon to GC

Is it possible to upload data from my oregon 300 (which I only bought two weeks ago) to Garmin Connect. If possible, can anybody help me. We are going on a cycling trip for three weeks and it would be great if afterwards we could view everything in GC!
  • I don't believe the Oregon is supported yet on GC, but from what I understand it is in the works (might even be supported on your return). See the following note:

In the interim you could try Motionbased. It doesn't appear to be on the list of supported devices over there though and I'm not familiar with the Oregon myself--do you what type of files these units save?

The oregon saves gpx and gdb ...
If we save our files will we still be able to upload them to GC in the future?

If you want map and chart detail you will want to avoid saving any tracks. If you have Internet access on your trip you can upload to MotionBased. Your activities will be migrated to Garmin Connect, and you will eventually be able to upload to Garmin Connect in the near future.
