Problem with goals

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I set up a goal on Garmin Connect and had it sent to my ANT agent but it never made it to my 405. is there something I'm doing wrong? isnt it supposed to go automaticaly to my watch? thanks for any help.

    Are you seeing any kind of error message in the ANT Agent? Do you see any pending goals in GAA? Also, what is the goal you are sending (settings, sport, etc.)?

    goal problems

    I am not seeing any error messages on the ANT agent. i just set up a simple running goal on garmin connect but it never made it to my watch.

    How about the other questions? Reason I'm curious about your goal setup is the 405 does have certain requirements regarding goals at the moment:


    • Only goals with an activity type of 'Any Activity Type' will be tracked on the Forerunner 405.
    • Only one goal per goal type can be viewed on the Forerunner 405.


    Also, if the goal has been successfully sent to the ANT agent you should see a list of "Pending transfers to device" with goals listed. Are you seeing this? If not, the process is failing at the ANT level and will help troubleshooting if we know this.

    I tried to save a goal as "any activity type" and that never went to the ant agent either. Im not seeing anything that says "pending goals." I appreciate your help with this.

    So sounds like the goal is failing to make it to the ANT agent to start. So some other questions: Do you have the latest version of the communicator plugin installed on your computer? Latest firmware? What version of the ANT agent are you running? What OS and browser are you using? Do you have a 405 or 405CX? Also, any anti-virus software that could potentially be locking communications?
