Downloading pre-planned routes from Google earth/maps

Is it possibile to plan a route on Goolge earth or maps or through connect and then upload it to and edge 705? :)

While Garmin Conect doesn't currently offer this functionality there are a number of other popular 3rd party apps that do. Here's a few to get you started:
