Hi
Having some problems trying to get data off my old style B&W vista
GTC will not recognise it saying it doesn't have the capabilities! and GC just hangs. left the unit on in the upload process for 4 hours and it didnt download the data from todays walk
However Mapsource finds the Vista and i can send maps and receive waypoints from the unit, but i cant see data, times, distance etc
Also Garmin webupdater finds it ok and the unit has been updated last Friday to the latest SW
i'm running XP home SP3
GTC is fully updated
Its running on COM1 with baud rate set at 9600 to reduce errors ( i have played with Baud rate to see if it makes any difference, it doesn't)
I know the pc is running ok as i have a Edge 305 and 705 and have had no issues uploading with these to both GTC and GC
Don't know where to go from here any help would be fantastic
