Training status

Hello community,

I need some help to understand the training status. First question, why did it considered only my last cycling activity and not the 2 previous others?

The other question is about the training effect. During the weekend, I'm running outdoor and during the week I usuualy try to do one or two sessions on a home trainer (not smart) with the resistance set to average difficulty (mid range). My bike is equiped with a power meter and speedometer. I'm currently in an improvement phase, either outdoor and indoor and the last one was my best one ever (interval training). I was proud of myself till I synced my Fenix 5 and saw that Garmin Connect set the status to unproductive :D   Any reason for that?

  • Training status requires recent VO2 max values and you need at least 1-2 per week. Now you got two recent values and that makes the training status work again.

Status Unproductive means that your VO2 max is declining but your load is good. You can't see that in that graph since it is rounded to the closest integer. For newer watch models you can look in the VO2 max graph on the watch to see those variations.
