Garmin Connect distance marker issue with distance 4digits

Hello,

when I creat ea course, where distance is longer than 1000km(4 digits), Garmin connect show only

distance marker for 3 digits number, that means you can see distance marker till 999km on the map.

After 999km mark, there is no more distance marker.

Can somenone(developer) from Garmin developer fix this?

I would rather suggest splitting the course into several sections. Because first of all, the course has a limited number of track points and way points (depending on the device you use, but typically 200 points per course, at some devices it may be as low as 50 points), so the resolution will be miserable at a such huge course. And then also because a huge course will either considerably slow down the device (in the better case), or crash it repeatedly (more likely).

Hello trux, thank you for the info. I have already contacted Garmin support and they(developers) will check the issue. I will not upload the course to my Garmin device(edge 1030Plus), I just want to check the route on Mac(using safari browser). I will split the route as you suggested before uploading the complete routes to Garmin edge.
