After reading the post regarding the mapsource look, I upgraded the version on my work computer:
total time needed: 10 minutes for a total success,
and a very happy customer :)
But, since I don't usually play with my toy (edge 705) at work, I
decided to upgrade mapsource on my home computer.
2 weeks ago, I turned my back on NORTON 360 (uninstall),
after that, MS office would not work anymore "I was getting invalid installation , could not locate data1.msi"
I managed to fix the issue true regedit/re-install with the original office 2000
CD that I took 2 hours to locate.
After that, I though ok, everything is fine, until yesterday....
Yesterday,
I got the same issue while trying to upgrade Mapsource
now looking for "MAIN.msi"
I re-installed from my city navigator DVD, tried many suggestions on various forum, but always get "MAIN.msi" is not a valid installation file.
Could not uninstall mapsource.
I Just love Norton & windows
I think I will re-format & re-install my PC....
