Unable to access garmin connect account on my MAC.

Keep getting message 

It looks like you don't have access privileges to view this course ...

any help appreciated?

  • Which course are you trying to access? If it is a course someone else created, and sent you the link, they have to make it public first.

    • Thank you for your reply.  But I just can't access connect at all on my mac.  It is circa 2011 so the operating system may not work at all now with garmin software, but thought I'd see if anyone else was starting to have same problem.
  • Garmin Connect is at connect.garmin.com/.../ . What do you see when you open that page? Can you see the login form? The Operating System of your Mac does not matter as long as you use a recent version of a browser. It the default browser on your mac (most likely Safari) does not work, install Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or another one.

  • Thanks again.  I'll try that and let you know how I get on.  I did think I'd used chrome but unsure.  So will download again and try.  When I put my details in on the login page, and click open,a new window opens but is blank with just the garmin connect url in address bar.

  • You can try force-reloading the page (Shift-F5), or clearing the cache and cookies of the browser. You can also try accessing directly another page, different than the home page. For example, try clicking this link connect.garmin.com/.../gear , to see whether it makes any difference. You can also try another browser, or an alternative internet connection
