BMW Motorrad Navigator V “Problem”

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with my BMW Motorrad

Navigator V. After performing a recent update, the device shut down and hasn't turned on since. l've tried various troubleshooting steps, including:

  1. Attempting to connect it to different computers and USB ports.
  2. Fully charging the device with a new battery.
  3. Trying a hard reset by holding down all available buttons.

Unfortunately, the device still shows no signs of life. It's not recognized by any computer, and it appears to be entirely unresponsive.

I've also considered reflashing the firmware using JTAG, but I don't have experience with this process, and I'm unsure of the exact steps or tools required.

If anyone has successfully fixed a similar issue or has experience with JTAG reflashing, l'd appreciate your advice.
