Any clues? my 310xt and ant agent are paired, yet the transfer of data keeps stating it has failed. I have not been able to download for the first time or been sent to the authorisation process.
Some questions for you: does the failure message state where the failure occurs? What OS and ANT Agent version are you using? Do you see any history data in the history folder in the application data directory on your hard drive?
NOTE: You should avoid posting the same question in multiple areas as cross-posting is generally frowned upon/confusing.
Looks like it is because I downloded the lastest version of ant agent. I uninstalled and deleted all files relatin to ant agent, loaded the original version 2.2.1 and re-paired. still every transfer files. very frustrating
I am currently not able to transfer training data from 310XT via ANT Agent (2.2.5) to GarminConnect. I have successfully transferred my first 4 sets of data, but now I see a failure message in the ANT Agent "Data Transfer Status" window when I try to transfer the most current training data. I have tried a number of times and get the same message on the two PCs where I have the ANT Agent software installed. I see the 310XT display the "Transferring Data" message for only a short time before it just stops transferring. I have checked all the settings to make sure that data transfer is enabled. I have also checked and can see the two most recent sets of training data in my History on the 310XT.
Even tried removing v2.2.5 and reinstalled v2.2.1 and this still did not fix the issue.
I am having the same issue with my 310xt. It will not load any of my new workouts. I keep getting the message "Last transfer with device Forerunner 310xt failed". I even uninstalled the ANT Agent 2.2.5 to 2.2.1 still no luck. Anyone have any suggestions here??? I am using Vista OS and Garmin Training Center.
Ok after about a zillion reinstalls, all to no avail, and more reading on the forums I finally decided to bit the bullet and do a hard reset (thereby losing my workouts) and see if I could get something other than the "failed" message. Good news is it now works! Bad news is I lost about a weeks worth of good workout data. Hopefully whatever glitch caused the "failed" message has been resolved and it will be smooth FR310xt sailing from here on out!
