In settings my timezone is set for GMT+10 Brisbane, but all of my activities on Garmin Connect show up as "Papua New Guinea Time", how do I fix this?

thanks
Dan
  • I assume you've already tried on GC to change your time zone?http://connect.garmin.com/settings

    Time Zone not displaying correctly

yes, in GC Settings my time zone is set as GMT+10 Eastern Time (Australia). My 405 time zone is set to GMT+10 Brisbane, as is my pc time zone.

PNG time is also GMT +10 but then again so is Vladivostock. So I don't know why GC shows Papua New Guinea for me when that is not the time zone I have selected in settings.

    Sounds like a bug.

I suggest reporting the bug via the Garmin web site.

At least the time is correct, just not the display of the time zone.

    April
  • I don't think the name really matters. I'm in Atlanta, but it always says New York (GMT -5:00) in most applications, including Windows OS.

Not unless you have a problem with them Yanks. ;)

I agree it doesn't really matter, I've reported the bug as suggested by ndurancerider. I thought it was worth reporting such a glaring error Seilogramp as you might do if all of your activities showed up as Bogota time GMT-5.

    cheers
