erasing step data on a specific date

My garmin hasnt registered all of my 10k step goal so I was short 3 days ago. I tried re setting my phone date but then garmin wouldnt let me log in . Is there any way to delete or alter a step total on a specific day in the past????

No more. The deletion of the daily metrics was available a few years ago, but the option was removed. Might be perhaps still accessible by a backdoor, but I did not keep any record of the API call. Perhaps BunBun! would know.
