I've had my Venu 3S since June 2024, and starting yesterday it randomly will not track any active calories unless I specifically start an activity in the watch, like walking or running.
For example, during a normal rest day (no planned or entered physical activity) I get around 14k-17k steps. My watch used to log at least 300-400 active calories burned just throughout the day by walking my dog, etc. No activity specifically started in the watch. As of yesterday, it no longer thinks I'm alive and will not register and active calories unless I specifically put it into an activity mode.
Yesterday I hiked 13k steps and it said I burned a total of 100 calories. Legit. There's no way. So then I tested it by putting it in walk mode and walked a tiny 1/4 mile walk with my dog and it said I burned 25 calories. So it's not logging any active calories if it's just sitting on my wrist. I checked heart rate and that is working, it registered my heart rate during the moments of my hike I know were more strenuousetc.
I tried syncing it, disconnecting bluetooth and reconnecting, restarting my watch. Nothing helped. Thought it would maybe correct overnight by sleeping but today I am still a zombie according to my watch and have burned zero calories by being awake for a few hours.
How can I fix this? It's driving me insane. This watch is flipping expensive and I've barely had it 6 month. It needs to working right.
