Step challenge Green vs Pink - What does the colour mean?

I'm curious and I can't seem to find an answer by searching.

There are a number of connection step challenges I am a member of (some I created myself). When I view my current challenges some of these challenge badges are green, and some pink. It's not obvious to me why there is this distinction. Does it mean something?

If you mean these below, then green pictograms are weekly challenges, and pink ones are daily challenges.
