I really dislike the fact that I can't show my current gear on the In Focus section of the new Garmin Connect design. I like seeing how many miles I've currently put on my shoes without having to click the Gear link on the left side.
If anyone is reading this from Garmin, please reconsider making this something we can add as users! I honestly don't understand why it was removed from the old version.
And for good design practice, you should move the "Edit Home" button to the top of the page - not hide it at the bottom!
