Unable to load GPX in to Garmin Connect App (Android) but Browser works fine

I'm unsure if a recent update has changed anything related to Garmin Connect so wanted to post here to see if anyone was having similar issues or whether this is an external issue.

My girlfriend and I are trying to tick off all Wainwrights, she likes to create the routes so has been creating these in OSMaps and exporting the .gpx file and sending to me, I would then open it on my phone in Garmin Connect, Save and send it to my watch (Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar).

Prior to two weeks ago this worked flawlessly, however it has all of a sudden stopped working and I'm getting this error: Course Not Available, We're having trouble retrieving your course.

if I import using the browser this still works fine and I can sync with my watch.

She hasn't changed the way she creates the routes so all I can think is that an update has been pushed out which has broken this? 

Has anyone else experienced this recently?
