Activity search

I've been looking back through my history trying to find a specific ride I did 3 years ago and it's really frustrating to try and find the activity in a list view.  I know where I rode and if I had a mapview with all of my routes visiable I could easily zoom into the area of interest and find the one I'm looking for much quicker.  Having a date range filter view could help reduce the overlap.

I didn't see any other questions specifically on this but I assume others have this question.  Any chance to get this update in the Connect web experience.  Right now I just have 100's or 1000's of rides that just say "Lyons Mountain Biking"  or  "Boulder County Mountain Biking"

Activities, select cycling, advanced, date range.

  • It would be great improvement.

I've found that Squadrats is a service that shows all activities and you can click on them to see the exact date and with a link to the activity in Strava. After that it is easy to find it in Garmin Connect if you want that.

It requires that you are syncing all activities to Strava and then to Squadrats.

  • Thanks for all the inputs but these are all workarounds for what I think could be a core experience. I don’t care for strava and use Trailforks but don’t send my data outside of garmin. I used the date range filter but still had to individually click on each ride to see the details when I knew the one I was looking for had an extra section I wanted to ride again and share.  Visually this would be very easy to identify.  I am a surveyor so maps are my thing vs. searching lists that all say the same thing.  Anyhow, maybe this is a feature request.  Thanks again

  • maybe this is a feature request

I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin
