Calendar Events

I have setup all my race events in Garmin Connect and when I want to send it to my watch it tells me it is not compatible but my Instinct 2 Solar watch is connected

Instinct 2 Solar doesn't support the Race glance/widget so there is no point in sending the event to the watch.

Do you know if you can enter the events in the calendar in the watch?

Which calendar?

One calendar is your calendar from the phone. Just add it as an appointment.

Another calendar is the training calendar. Add it as a workout, but I don't really see the point. Are you going to start the race as a workout? Better to just log it without a workout. Afterwards you connect the event with the activity.
