I use a Nordic Track treadmill regularly with iFit and although its a pain I can download the data of these runs from my strava account (which links to iFit perfectly) and upload to my Garmin calendar through Garmin Connect on my mac.
These manual entries look good in the connect app BUT don't then appear on my watch.
So despite doing a load of quality hill and speed reps on the treadmill my watch keeps telling me my hill endurance, vo2 max etc is trending down.
It also doesn't think I'm being productive! ha ha
Now I do tend to use Strava for tracking most things but I find the watch stats on load, body battery, sleep, recovery etc very important also.
I just can't understand why Garmin won't allow iFit to connect properly?
Anyone found a better work around than what I'm doing to give me better watch data?
