Export all activities as GPX

I would like to export all my activities to GPX wherever applicable. I know I can do it on the page of the activity

But going one by one for hundreds of activities will be terrible. I would like to export them all like to CSV but just ideally a zip file with all the GPXs

  • Rather than using Garmin Connect Web, I suggest submitting a data export request - Garmin Connect Full Data ExportI did this for my account which contains thousands of activities dating back to 2004. You'll eventually receive an email from Garmin with a link to download your entire Garmin profile which will include everything. All your activities exactly in the type they were uploaded (FIT, GPX, or TCX). Once you get it you can convert if desired any FIT or TCX files to GPX.

  • Oh this is amazing, didn't know it was possible. Thank you!

do you know if there's any metadata to explain what all the folders mean?

I actually can't find the activities as I can't find any of the *.fit files inside it

  • Open DI_Connect. Then DI-Connect-Fitness-Uploaded-Files. Within that folder will be several zipped folders that contain all of the activity files. The rest of it will have little or no use to you.

NOTE: If you are looking for the individual activity data to upload to a new account or a third-party site you can find them by navigating to "DI_CONNECT > DI-Connect-Fitness-Uploaded-Files" and opening the .zip files contained within.

  • Thank you. How come that each activity is named in the webUI but it's not contained in the FIT files? because of the name, it takes processing and all the files one by one and adding those names to the activities
