Why does sleep tracking always start at midnight?

If I go to bed and to sleep before midnight on any day, my Venu 3 always starts tracking only at midnight when the calendar date changes. So it always shows less than the time I actually slept.

If there no fix for this?

  • What have you set your normal sleep times to?

  • I'm having the same issue. I've set mine 10 30pm to 5 30 am. My data tracks from midnight

  • Has anyone figured this out? I have the same issue and it’s really annoying, especially for someone that works shifts. I’m in bed for 8/9 and up at 4 but my body battery only shows charge from midnight, seems like a very flawed sleep tracking system from garmin.

  • Body Battery isn't using sleep for recharge. It is using stress. Check you body battery graph. It will recharge when the stress is blue (below 25).

So, you can recharge at any time as long as you get low enough stress. It is usually only low enough during sleep so it looks like it is sleep that does the recharging.
