Garmin Connect (Web or App) - how to add an address to a course/route

Maybe somebody else can correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem possible to do that in the Connect app or website.

Tbh I think the route creator in Strava is so much better (and it does allow you to add waypoints by address, where the address you typed in *should* show up on some Garmin devices), but unfortunately it's a paid feature. If you do pay for that feature, your starred courses will automatically sync over to Connect if you connect your Strava and Connect accounts.

EDIT I don't use Garmin Explore, but there you might be able to specify a waypoint using the map or coordinates, and to rename the waypoint to the address / place name you want. It doesn't seem as user friendly as Strava (where you just click "add waypoint" and type in the address you want to add.)
