Activity type mismatch

Hello,

I have some activities that are shown of type "Road Cycling" when I look at the activities overview, but when I open the detail of the activity it is shown as "Running".

They are in fact cycling activities, so why is the detail incorrect?

The title is incorrect. It says "5/24/12 6:53 AM" in the overview, but "Kontich Running" when you open it. It should say the same in both places.

This is a really old activity. Do you see the same for more recent activities?

Is the time and distance the same in the overview and when you open the activity?

Yes, time and distance are the same. It's the same activity.

Only see this issue for old activities.

I guess this is something that Garmin Support will have to answer. We can only guess what is going on. I checked a few of my historic activities from 2011 and 2012, but they all seem to behave correctly.

Do you have any activity with the title Kontich Running?

Have you tried using an incognito tab to view the data? Lots of things are loaded dynamically by javascript and things can go wrong. Check the javascript console for error messages.

Could you make one of these activities public, and share a link to it? We can look at the background JSON data, and perhaps tell you what might be the reason.
