Unable to login to connect through express

I can't login to Garmin connect on MacBook Pro, it was ok an hour ago and nothing has changed, I can see all my account details in express but unable to access connect, it just keeps cycling between "connect.Garmin.com" and "sso.garmin.com"???

  • Seems to be an issue only when already logged into Garmin Connect Web. If logged out, it works fine. I actually reported this to Garmin Support back in September 2023. At that time it would never login to Garmin Connect from the Garmin Express link, so there is somewhat of an improvement. Nonetheless, I never go to Garmin Connect Web this way, so it has no impact for me.

    I already have Garmin Express version 7.18.3.0. But I did an uninstall (also selected delete all Garmin Express files from your computer). Downloaded latest version from garmin.com and reinstalled Express. Added the Epix (Gen 2).

    I had already tested setting Chrome as default browser. However, I have since reinstalled a fresh Windows 11 on my computer, so I tried it again.

    Edge as default – same issue
    Chrome as default – same issue
    Firefox as default – same issue

    Also tried with no browser extensions or add-ons.

    Garmin Express reports have been sent.

    Engineering would like to get Express updated to 7.18.3, and if still having the issues remove the device from Express and add back in. Also, if you switch the default browser to Chrome or Firefox from Edge does the same thing happen? If the issue is still occurring, so we can gather new information from Express select the question mark at the top right, select send reports, and enter code EQ4EW.
