heart rate zones incorrect in training plan

I have updated my heart rate zones on the phone mobile app (andoid), as I cannot find them on the web app anymore (windows through browser). 

I go back to the web app to add my training plan, as the heart rate based training plans are not available to add on the phone app. I add the 10k heart rate based intermediate. When I check the training plan in the calendar all the zone ranges are wrong. The only way I can change them would be to set every single step in each activity to custom and specify the range I want. This is ridiculous, as I might as well build my own plan at this point. 

How do I get the new zones I have entered into my profile to show up in the plan?

  • If the workout is based on HR Zones, then it adjusts dynamically to the HR Zone range as they are defined on the watch in real-time. So for example if you set a workout step in Z4, it may be in the range of 140-150 one day, and if the HR Zone is adjusted (manually or automatically based on the LTHR or Max HR auto-detection), it may be at 145-155 bpm another day. That's exactly the purpose of HR Zones.

    The absolute bpm values shown in GC » Workouts are only informative, and use the last synced values. It does not necessarily mean the values will be exactly the same in future when you launch the workout and the HR Zones changed in the meantime. If you need absolute values, do not use HR Zones, use HR.
