I want to add a shoe that already has 200k on it, but I am unable to enter the milage of the shoe

I am new to Garmin, I have several pairs of shoe I have tracked the km I used it for in another app.

When I add a shoe to Garmin connect, I can not tell Garmin connect how many KM are already on the shoe.

Is there a workaround?

You could use something like "[Shoe brand/model] +200k" as the shoe nickname so you won't forget about the extra distance.

Yes, enter the total mileage minus 200 km. Another possibility would be adding a manual activity 200 km long, and assigning the gear to it.

This is a good idea, and I'll add that it will mess up your totals afaik, but if you change the date of the activity so it's very long in the past, you probably won't care.
