Home page "loading error" on PC

Whenever I go to Garmin Connect on my PC, I get "loading error" against two of the items as shown in the image below. On the iPhone app, the same items are displayed correctly. I have tried resetting the home page (and then setting it back to what I want) but that doesn't clear the issue, and neither does refreshing the page. This never used to happen with the previous (and in my opinion far better) version of the home page. I also get the cookies prompt EVERY SINGLE TIME, which is something that should have been fixed as it has been reported before.

  • Personally, I have now such issues (and do not see others complaining about it), so I guess it could a local problem. You could try the following:

    • Clear the cache (temporary internet files) of the browser and restart it
    • Temporarily disable browser extensions, adblockers, etc.
    • Try the "incognito" browser mode
    • Try an alternative browser
    • Try a different Internet connection
    • Try a different computer
    • Sign-out, and sign back in
  • Clearing the cache and trying a different browser (Edge, Chrome) made no difference, the other suggestions aren't possible. I'm always signed out anyway so I have to sign in each time (although most of the time I simply start Garmin Connect from Garmin Express so no sign-in is required).

  • If I toggle off "At A Glance" I get that same error message. Click on the "Edit Home" button, toggle on At A Glance, then all the data loads correctly.

  • I tried that, also "focus".Having switched off the aspects of those that I don't collect such as sleep and steps (I only wear the watch when running so they're meaningless), the problem persisted. In addition, the iPhone app home page, which was previously OK, moved the things I actually wanted to the bottom so that I had to scroll down to see them. It seems that Garmin haven't really tested this new home page to even the most basic level before releasing it.

I can't understand why Garmin don't simply provide an option of the original home page for those who want it - the comments on these forums suggest I'm far from the only one.
