connect not syncing with strava

Garmin Connect fails to sync today with Strava. It worked yesterday. I disconnected and reconnected to no avail. It is not syncing for both the web version and iOS app version, My activity shows in Strava but is not being pushed to or received by Garmin Connect. Not sure how to troubleshoot this.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do you mean you created an activity in the Strava app and you want it to sync to Connect? Afaik, activity syncing has only ever worked in the other direction (from Garmin to Strava.)

Hey there, at this moment activities on Strava do not automatically sync to Garmin. The best option is to manually export your Strava activity and upload it to your Garmin Connect account.

Or do you mean that you created an activity with your Garmin device and it shows up in Strava, but not Connect? Bc that seems like it would be impossible. Garmin activities can't be pushed to Strava without landing in Connect first. It might be the case that the activity was originally synced to Connect (and pushed to the Strava), but now it's been deleted (or is otherwise unavailable) in Connect.
