Migrating old Garmin data in to new Garmin account

It might be easier to change the email address on the old account and continue using it, but if you want, you can import activities and some of the metrics at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data  

I took your advice and have migrated the handful of latest activities from my new Garmin account to my old original Garmin account. Now I want to delete the new Garmin account. Can I do that by signing in to the new Garmin account (different email address) and then select "delete account". Will that only delete the new account and not the old account if I'm doing the deletion request whilst signed in to the new account?

I never deleted an account, but as long as they are separate and use different email addresses, deleting one should have no impact on the other one. However, if you fear deleting the wrong account, you can also let the new account intact, and just stop using it. It won't harm anything.

Thanks. I did read somewhere today that after 60 days of no activity Garmin will auto delete the account anyway so if I leave the new account dormant with no activities loading, Garmin will auto delete it for me anyway.

I do not think it is true. I have a testing account, that I did not use at all for 3 or 4 years (if not more), and recently needed it again, and found it perfectly intact after all that time.
