Exporting data for Google Earth

Hi all,

I want to export all of my activities to view in google earth so I can create my own heat map type of thing.

I have seen different codes you can paste into your browser to download them but they seem not to work anymore.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this, apart from the data export from garmin itself?

You can export activities in GPX and in KLM file formats (both can be imported into Google Earth) directly from Garmin Connect Web:

Or even simpler - just install the app Garmin Explore - tracks of all activities can be seen on the same map, there.

Thank you for the reply.

The export activities would be manually done and take ages for the activities I have done.

My watch (Forerrunner 55) is not supported on the Garmin Explore app.

Me, too, I was interested in that simple method via Garmin Explore. But no joy for Edge devices.

Well, if your device is not compatible with GE, then another option is connecting Garmin Connect with Strava and use their feature of Personal Heatmaps. It is available to paying subscribers only, though. There are also a few other online services offering such functionality. Try googling personal heatmap for garmin - Google Search
