Just like the song by MJ says, Garmin doesn't really seem to care about their users.
Thousands of people must've written to them during the last 10 years about Garmin Connect and the fact that the sport "Roller skiing" is missing.
You can chose "Breathing therapy" but no not roller skiing or Ski Erg for example. I've written to them at least 15 different times but they just don't care.
The same with the colors in the calendar. Now all activities look pretty much the same. Why did they do it? No one knows but they sure didn't do it because their users demanded it.
I really hate Garmin for this.
