Upgraded to GPS watch: previously recorded runs way off: edit or invalidate?

Hello,

now that I upgraded from a Vivomove Style to a Venu 3, the tracking via GPS on runs is much more accurate.

Unfortunately all past runs (pace and distance especially) are way off and are at least 30% faster/longer due to the very wrong stride length. This is a little bit demotivating about achieving personal records and comparisons.

I tried to set a custom stride length (as determined by the Venu 3), but it doesn't have any effect on the runs previously recorded by the Vivomove.

Is there no way to alter these past run activities recorded by the less accurate Vivomove? I'd like to either set them to a custom stride length or, if that's impossible, deactivate/invalidate them. If that's impossible via Garmin Connect then maybe via an API or 3rd party app or export+change/import back somehow?

Thank you very much.
