corrupt fit file

Hi all,

I did a triathlon in triathlon mode om my Garmin fenix 7, and it did not sync or upload to Connect>

Fit file repair didnt work, any of you guys that can help me out?

Zip then attach the corrupted fit file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your device then remove all activity fit files from your Garmin device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Check for firmware updates using Garmin Express

Hey Seilogramp,

I was hoping to get your help with my corrupt fit file. I completed a half ironman on Sunday and the file didn't sync and I wasn't able to upload it manually.

Hi Seilo,

unfortunatly it synced as 1 cycling activity instead of swim-bike-run.

From what I can see, it was recorded as a single cycling activity. Suggest trying to use the "Convert to Multisport Activity" feature within Garmin Connect Web.

Seilogramp - I did a triathlon yesterday and had haven't been able to upload - looks like you're the main person to fix fit files. Are you able to fix this one? Much appreciated.2024-07-25-09-42-52.fit.zip
