The Strava Connect IQ app is not longer supported. Instead you send the route server to server.
Make sure Garmin Connect and Strava is connected and that the courses switch is on.

After that you just have to mark the course with a star in Strava. That will make the course to be transferred to Garmin Connect and also be queued for transfer to all your devices. Just do a sync of the Edge and the course will be on it.
