Deleting old data (Fenix 5X/Garmin Connect Mobile/Web)

In the past there have been posts from WillNorthYork and BunBun! about how to do this using a programming script.  Otherwise, it might be easier to just create a new Garmin account and start fresh.

The first link for WillNorthYork didn't work for me, I tried BunBun's solution but couldn't get that working either. But it gave me an idea so I wrote my own script to get the job done. I think BunBun's solution might be outdated.

I tried to share my solution here but they have some kind of security measure in place which prevents me from sharing the code.

You should be able to post it as a .txt attachment.

WARNING: THIS WILL DELETE ALL ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE 2024 (can be customized if you know what you're doing)

Instructions:
- Log into Garmin Connect.
- Go to Activities/All Activities
- Open Developer Console (F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I)
- Paste the entire script into the console and hit Enter to run it.
- Refresh the page, all activities outside 2024 should be gone.

This will delete any activity that IS NOT in the year 2024. It is possible to make a more sophisticated filter if you know some JS. You can test it without the `deleteActivity` function to make sure you're selecting the correct data, then add the function once you know your filter works.

The fiddle should stay available indefinitely as far as I know, so I figure it's good enough. And it's less "scary" than downloading a .zip from a stranger in my opinion

External links are often flagged by the forum software. So might not last forever.
